SUPPLEMENTAL READING
LIST
Disclaimer: In cramming a great deal of reading into preparation for this course, I took note that the “literature” is full of attack pieces aimed at environmentalists or their critics. Sadly, there is a dearth of rational, unbiased material on eco-terrorism or on environmental issues. So as you review this list and read from it, be skeptical. It must be noted that the books and web sites on this list may not have anything to say on the topic of eco-terrorism. Nor does inclusion on this reading list imply any connection with eco-terrorism. The references are provided to give students a variety of perspectives on environmental issues as background for this course. References will be added when students find new material during the semester.
