WDSC 665. Probability Models in Forestry Related Research. 3 hr. PR: Graduate student standing, STAT 512 or equivalent, CS 15 or consent. Introduction to the development and application of probability based models. Simulations of single multiple and correlated random variates. Modeling techniques, static (Monte Carlo) simulations, queuing models and period modeling.
