How to Apply

Applications for scholarships are solicited early in the Spring semester and awarded the following Fall semester. Application forms are available in January from the Director’s Office in the Division of Forestry & Natural Resources or from the Associate Dean’s Office. Scholarship forms are also available online.

Application deadline for most applications is February 1st, however please note that some scholarship deadlines are different and some scholarships may not be available every year.

To provide the maximum number of students with some financial aid from the limited number of scholarships, we attempt to limit major scholarships to one per recipient regardless of the sources of funds.

You may also apply for financial assistance through the West Virginia University Financial Aid Office. Deadlines for application are different than for scholarships in the Division of Forestry & Natural Resources.
